Our Inspiration
Agrofruits International LLC a California Company was founded by his CEO Frank Chavez and his two sons Enrique and Francisco as the result of years of research. It started when Frank made the first trial using coir substrate at his facility in Irvine CA., which was a secondary product of a coconut fiber processor; after he saw the benefits obtained by using coir substrate in his crops, he ordered the first container load to use it in the propagation of flower carpet rose in October 1994.
In 2012 Frank ventured into the state of Guerrero, Mexico and with his partner Jorge Pena, both created PATROMEX, investing in the construction of a processing plant, a testing lab, machinery and equipment, ensuring the high quality and consistency of the products we offer.
Through the years, Agrofruits International LLC, has been recognized by our high quality standards in our main two distribution brands; AgroCoco, the coconut coir fiber growing media and Agrofruits, which promotes coconut fruit in its various stages such as raw coconut cream, raw coconut water and frozen coconut meat.
